BOARD POSITIONS: Vice President/Program Chairman and 1 Director position to be elected at the conference. Received nominations to be listed on ballots provided, and voted on, at member business meeting.
All Board Members attend two planning meetings, attend the annual conference and banquet and offer remote support as needed throughout the planning year.
Directors serve two year terms and are responsible for the above listed duties.
Secretary/Treasurer serves a three year term. They are also responsible for the above duties as well as scheduling and maintaining minutes for all meetings, coordinating event detail with Board Members and hotel staff, and managing and reporting on WSFEA funds.
VP/Program Chairman serves a four year progressive term. In the first year this position is responsible for the above duties, as well as planning the meeting agenda with support of the Board. This position then serves as President of the Board and event chairman in the second year of the term. The final two years of service this position serves as a Director.
 
HALL OF FAME: The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to recognize the members of the association who have made exceptional contributions to the saw filing profession.
Nominees must be a member of WSFEA and at least 62 years of age. Under unusual circumstance the Executive Board, by a three-fourths majority vote, may confirm a nominee otherwise not qualified. Nominating letters can be accepted at any time throughout the year and will be kept on file to review annually with the Executive Board. The Executive Board reviews each nomination and confirms by a three-fourths majority vote. Maximum of two members selected per year.
Nominations are to be submitted to the Secretary stating qualifications of the candidate by mailed letter or online submission portal or association email address. Nomination must include nominee name, career history and 200 or more words describing the outstanding contribution to the saw filing trade to be considered.
